How accurate did your items ship on there estimate date?

It feels like it takes them longer for them to ship an item, compared to like newegg.

I wonder if its just a "to be safe" thing to give them a lot of time.

If its a normal item mine ships just about equal to what they tell me, mostly a day sooner if anything different.

However, their pricing mistake type stuff takes a looooonnnnnggggg time. I ordered the ATA860's @ $24.95 a couple years ago, it was supposed to arrive the last day before christmas, I was told that by an actual operator and that the price was a great deal....sometime 30+ days later I got ATA885's instead. I was shipped several different speakers (all cheapies) during that time.

Yep, same here. I ordered a Lexar multi-card reader and they estimated that it would ship near the end of this week, but I got it last Tuesday.

Between Dell and Newegg I'm a happy camper 🙂
 
The usually ship early for me (5 out of 6 orders), but they always charge me way to much tax. I live in TN, so I'm unlucky enough to have to pay tax on Dell orders, but they always charge 10.75% tax when TN state tax is 9.25%. They do this every time, and every time I call and argue with them to get it dropped back down. Every time I win but am left feeling frustrated, and still I go back.
 
i hope they overshoot by a couple of weeks, estimated shipping date on my digicam (bought on saturday) is set at june 25 🙁
 
ordered from Dell last week for the first time (got in on the 4600 deal).

I placed my order and it got built and shipped the very next day. 2-3 days later it was in my hands
Very happy customer

Now if I get my $100 MIR back in a reasonable amount of time, I will be even more happy 🙂

Considering tax on my new laptop was $242.11 (uncorrected for the 10.75% tax) I would have been willing to pay $100 to cover shipping and a little profit. Hmmm, I need to make a friend in Oregon.

now my order status says delayed, Currently one or more items are not available. Every effort is being made to complete your order.

which one do i go by?
