I heard on CNN last night Bush don't cancel his vacation until Tuesday night after NO got hit hard on Monday morning. Don't you think Bush should be on top of this largest disaster in US history earlier? I am not saying he is not working on it when he is "vacation", but when I first heard about it I am like O_O.

sure, it got hit, but the disaster wasnt that bad until late tuesday when the levees began breaking.

why werent you down in New Orleans the second the Hurricane hit and began helping ppl?

PR-wise it wasn't the best move. The President is never "on vacation" though. He did cut short his trip though not long after the levees broke and the new levels of damage became apparent.

Take it to P&N though ass.

Is Bush ever not on vacation?

I saw his speech a while ago...the boy needs to purchase a hooked-on-phonics kit and learn how to read....then practice those skills while looking at his audience rather than stumbling through words and constantly looking down at his notes.

To be honest, you actually think that President Bush could do more for the disaster effort while flying over it than he could from his ranch? He's the President of the US..he can do his thing from wherever.

even thou he takes the most vacations compare to other presidents, i'm sure he works too while on vacation.

It's kinda like when the Twin Towers came down and Bush just sat there in that classroom reading to the kids after hearing what had happened. Fahrenheit 911 had it on tape. Amazing.
