Last time I chilled with my best friends before we went off to college (Saturday I think? It feels like its been weeks). Of course I'm still at home cause school doesn't start till sunday for me, so I'm bored as all hell. I'm sure that Sunday I will be happy.

Last weekend when I was at my uncle's house and his daughter (my cousin) came over with her daughter (my second cousin), I have to say I was completely truly happy when I was playing with her, she is the cutest little baby. Just put a big smile on my face. It was such a contrast for me that day, in the morning I went to visit my Grandpa who has terminal cancer and has anywhere from days to months to live, then to go to my uncle's house and see this new life (3 years old) really was just what I needed.

The last time I felt really happy was just about a month ago while I was out hiking for 4 days in the Tetons. That kind of thing really cures what ails you. Now I'm down because I'm too busy at work to take 2 weeks off this month to go back.

eh, there was a weekend a couple of weeks ago when I was really down. I hung out with family one night playing with my 5 and 2 year old cousins and then spent some time with my friends, hanging out and just having a good time. It was as happy as I've been in a long time.

Truly happy though, It's that rare that I should be able to count them, but I don't remember.

Last weekend when I was camping with my gf at Deception Pass -- she was taking a nap and so I was grilling hot dogs and cooking pork n' beans while listening to the Mariners-Royals doubleheader on the radio while the sun started to go down. Dunno why exactly (I'm not a huge baseball fan, I usually don't like to cook that much and I also don't really care for camping), but I just felt very content and happy.
