When is Q9400 launching?

Is there any news on when this new procesor is coming out?

Some time in Q3. I don't believe an exact date has been set yet.

I had read some reports that the Q9400 plus the other new Q9650 was coming out this month, but since its almost over I gues that was wrong. I'm waiting on that Q9400 to do my next bulid, so Im getting anxios.

The price cuts were this month. The product lauch can be any time in Q3. The launch will also cause some price adjustments on current products.

I read on several forums and blogs that the new Q9650's and Q9400s will launch Aug 10th, which will also be the time where the current Q9550 will drop to $316. I hope they're right, I'm holding out to build my new system 🙂

On my bday!

I promised myself i wouldnt move away from my beloved X3220 until i could get 45nm and a 9x multi on full cache for $300.

Its getting there, no birthday quad for me.

Happy bday! It will be a happy day for me too, if I can get my hands on that procesor in less than two weeks! I can only hope! And then the Nehaelms will come out and I'll kick myself in the head for not waiting a couple of more months to have a really killer system!
