When is Nvidia coming out with Kepler based Quadro Cards

I am starting to build a new computer. But I want to buy the best workstation card that is out there for 3d animations.

It seems like NVIDIA came out with a new Kepler based GEForce card.But no announcements about the Kepler based Quadro cards. When will there be one?

With GTX 480s at less then half of there original retail price I would wonder why one would even choose Quadro unless the employer was paying for the whole shot.

As it should for how many thousands of dollars them Quadro cards cost over the price of a 480.

Unfortunately you can no longer mod a Geforce into a Quadro:

The extra OpenGL logic has been physically fused off on Geforce cards beginning with the 7-series. For peak OpenGL performance in 'pro' apps you are forced to buy an actual Quadro. DirectX has no such limitations on Geforce cards. You may see a minor improvement in OpenGL 'pro' apps by soft-modding (if it's possible), but it will never come close to matching an actual Quadro. At least that is always how it's been in the past.

If you are working in DirectX buy a Geforce. If you are working in OpenGL buy a Quadro.

I would suggest checking the software you're going to use and see if it's OpenGL compatible with a 7970 just because of the cost of a Quadro card.
