Crysis 2 is running on the consoles...I highly doubt it will require more processing power than the Original Crysis.

heh... this reminds me fable 2.
I played fable 1 on the PC, fable 2 did not come on the PC so I had to play it on the xbox360.
I was amazed at just how much worse the graphics were on fable 2.

that being said, its listed platforms are Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360.
So it could have improved graphics on windows compared to last version... with there being an "ultra crappy graphics" version for the consoles.

Consoles have nothing to do with it, CryEngine is a very scalable engine, and Crysis and Warhead were very scalable games.
Consoles just run a scaled-down version of the game... the PC isn't going to run a console version.
