When is a good time to go clothes shopping?

Not necessarily for christmas gifts, but if I wanted to buy mens clothes at say Macy's or JC Penny or whatever, what day/days would be ideal to go during this holiday season for the best prices?

Exactly when there are big holiday sales... or after and off season sales... like when its Febuary and the large department stores want to get rid of their winter clothes so they slash the prices... same when its late summer
they slash prices to get a little profit from the leftover summer stuff and make way for the winter clothes.

well I was looking at JC Penny ad today, saw there were point-zero sweatshirts for 19.99. I bought a couple of those at Macy's about 1 1/2 months ago for about 30$ each I believe. I guess, to make my question a little more direct, i shoudl say... Is today, tomorrow, or next weekend a good time to find low prices?

Never. Clothes shopping sucks. I'm just glad my mom and sis like to shop and usually wind up giving me half their clothes.

<---- gets frustrated within five minutes of entering a clothes store.

Maybe and maybe not cause the bigger the sale the more % off it might be off the item but there might be less selection or no selection of the item you're looking for.

heh when i first read that I thought u were a guy at first, because girls usually don't complain about shopping 🙂 I get pissed off when I go into a store too, but that's only when i'm with other people and can't shop for my own stuff.

Personally I like to shop by myself.

Nah, I don't even like shopping for myself - that's worse, if possible. See, I don't like any of the styles of stuff they expect girls to wear, and when I walk in with something simple and specific in mind, I can NEVER find it. It's easier for guys, they design mens departments to be simple. Womens departments are designed for browsers, people shopping just to shop, not shopping with intent. They depend on impulse buyers. I don't shop like that. Stupid department stores.
