Question When I use DVDShrink it creates Audio and Video folders, but the Audio's always empty. Why?

I use Imgburn to create hard copies of DVDs, but DVDShrink to do the rips. But DVDShrink always creates two folders for the rip but the Audio folder's always empty. When I do my burns I add both the Audio and Video folders but figure since the Audio folder is empty it probably makes no difference. Is there something weird about my installations of DVDShrink? I figure I'm missing something. Why is there an Audio folder if they don't use it?

Audio TS ?
Ignore the AUDIO_TS folder; it's the Audio Title Set and is used mainly for DVD Audio discs.

No idea why the folder is there. Deustroop's explanation seems plausible.

The AUDIO_TS folder was added as an option after the standard was established. This folder was created for standalone audio files much like the audio tracks on a CD. The idea was that DVDs would replace CDs as audio media. It never caught on but the folder remains, even though it's invariably empty

And when I add folders to Imgburn, it's an extra step to add the \Audio folder. I'll skip it next time I rip a DVD movie.

I used to record stereo FM onto VHS tapes for improved fidelity over cassettes.
