Never thank god! I can't even begin to fathom how akward a situation that would have been.

however my dad and I were hunting once, and we watch 2 squirrels doing it. Then a third squirrel jumped in and the squrrels had a three way! That was something else.

Didnt all of you learn it in health class back in elementary and middle school? My parents never gave me the talk, but they explained it all very clear in school through the many health classes I took.

Elementary or Middle School???

Dang! We didn't have any "Health" classes (that dealt with sex) until High School.

I was an inquisiting young mind, so I asked. I knew all of the parts involved, but I couldn't figure out how they all fit together. And then it made perfect, disqusting sense.

I guess they figure that either I don't need to know or school will do it for them. Thank god, I DO NOT want to think about either of my parents knowing those things. I'm 16, and I swear to god if they even try I'm running for the woods. yech :disgust:

<< My parents have never talked about sex in front of me. The closest thing to it, my dad told me not to masturbate. >>

LOLOLOL!

<< I was 17, and about to go to college. My dad gave me "the talk" and a pack of condoms. The weird thing I already knew all that, and had a pack in my drawer >>

LOL that reminds me of the 'talk' in American Pie. God that was hilarious.

<< I'll NEVER forget mine.

I was 16-17, something like that. The time my dad decides to describe sex just happens to be during the PREMIER episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation!! DOH!!!

Luckily he left the TV on, so I just nodded a lot and said "uh-huh" until he was done. :)

LOL, sounds like it was planned that way - no pressure for dad if the kid is focused on the TV.

I think I mostly got a couple of books, and concerned looks.

They didn't! Which is probably why I am so frank with my kids...

When my neice was 12 she and my daughter asked me what sex was like and I told them it was like having a guy hock a loogie into you. :) I am her favorite aunt! :D Seriously, I have tried to balance cold, hard facts with practical advice, and I believe that when a kid asks you a question, you should do your best to answer.

my mom sat me down and gave me the p and v talk sometime in 6th grade. I had heard about the mechanics of reproduction since fourth grade, but never believed such anywould would ever do such a thing. A few years later it seemed much more believable.

Sometime in high school my dad gave me the "safe sex" talk, complete with introductory pack of trojans.
