Did anyone use the Overdrive chips that could boost that 486DX2 66MHz to a whopping 100MHz?

I remember those. Weren't they made by a company called Evergreen or something?

The guy in the OP must be related to one of my former co worker. This dude said his dial up modem at home was so special that it was so fast, as fast as our work T1 line. :Q

Well it could have been a really pathetic T1 line too. :p
There were times that the campus network would make me yearn for my speedy 56k ISA hardware modem back in the Pentium II days. Sometimes that campus Internet connection would just about grind to a halt.
