Jelly up son, we don't take kindly to other folks round here.

PS this reminds me of the butter side up/down Seuss story.

PPS I prefer you jelly side up upscillion LOL

Don't make me start a thread about hot dogs, buns, and condiments.

The hot dog is first slathered with condiments which is then inserted into the warm bun, no?

I prefer contrast in on my hotdogs. Hot dogs grilled/heated/whatever into a steamed bun and then sauces such as ketchup and mustard and then other stuff such as onions on top.

I don't get the onions then sauce people. If an onion cube falls down, its even more likely to leave a stain! Think, people!

Also, who does the two layers of PB with jelly in the middle, thats just asking it to squirt out at you. I prefer jelly up so that the bread helps keep the jelly in the sandwich and gravity has to pull jelly through a layer of PB before starting its soak through the bread into my fingers.

Oh yea, I eat all of my sandwich, but I think maybe he's thinking of it as that last bit is where he's been holding the sandwich and where all the germs from his fingers have congregated?

You just had to quote my post, huh ;)

I'm a sausage man myself, I haven't had a hot dog since I was a kid.

I know you really really wanted to know that.

I mix my peanut butter and jelly together on the bread before I spread it out.

LOL

I hold the sandwich vertical. Then I take massive bites out of it. That way I don't even have to make that choice. :)

Yes, I did have to quote you.

That, and from all your trips to Costco, you're teling me you never had a 1.55 hot dog and soda combo? They have that polish sausage you seem to be such a fan of, but mixups can happen...

Putting a layer of peanutbutter on one slice of bread and a layer of jelly on another is the lamest way to make a pb&j sandwich.

It's not a peanutbutter and jelly sandwitch unless you have to constantly lick the bottom, or else risk goobering yourself. :p

To accomplish this, you must mix the peanutbutter and jelly together. A pb&j sandwich should be thick.

Mmmm.... Now I want one.

:music:

Oh you need fluff, fluff, fluff to make a fluffernutter, :music:
Marshmallow fluff and lots of peanut butter.

First you spread, spread, spread your bread with peanut butter, :music:
Add marshmallow fluff and have a fluffernutter.

When you enjoy, joy, joy your fluff and peanut butter, :music:
You're glad you have enough for another fluffernutter.

Not only do I eat my PB & J sandwiches peanutbutter side up, but I am firm believer that every sandwich has a proper orientation. A true connoisseur will eat 1/4 a sandwich in one orientation, 1/4 in the other and the last half in the orientation that suits him best.

It's $1.50 here in the land of 0% sales tax and yes I've had a few.

best way...

although we usually use creamed honey instead of jelly. Still there is liberal mixing prior to topping, and my daughters like their PB&J/H topless.
