If Trump is our Prez and it's looking highly likely that he will be, Trump can do whatever he wants! He will reign over us peasants!
 
It's interesting that one of the more cynical responses to rape allegations, is "they are only doing it for the money", especially when celebrity or athletes have rape charges brought against them.

Trump is famous and extremely wealthy moreso than just about every celebrity or athlete, so these women did not care that he lived that lifestyle and wanted to bring him down a notch, or more than a few notches, in actual prison, they let him live his life and decided instead to keep their stories to themselves. Being a rape victim is a very trying process, with the victims further being victimized and blamed for the act itself.

These women though, put all that aside, when they realized that the consequences of their silence wouldn't be just more sexual assaulted victims piling up on Trumps tally, but the literal rape of America and its freedoms.

Part of me says shame on them for their selfishness in not coming forward sooner and making that list much shorter, but another part of me congratulates them for saving this country from its own stupidity.
 
Shame on them for not coming forward later? Women get disgraced to hell and back by lads like Blue Max 'n' Michal; they're just trying to defame a public figure, they're liars, innocent until proven guilty, "allegedly", etc. etc.

We got a looooong way to go before women are able to come forward with confidence.

I think the problem is that we all know had they come forward in the past without a national campaign he would have litigated them all to death. This is the sort of person who launches a lawsuit because you hurt his feelings, imagine what lengths he would go to if he felt he were truly threatened.

Now these women have protection. If he tries to sue them they will have lawyers coming out of the woodwork who will not only be itching to work pro bono but will delight in subjecting Trump to discovery motions until he squeals. I doubt he sues anyone or if he does it is only done for show and is dropped quickly.

I think they're more worried about being believed than being sued. Cosby was never a big threat to sue anyone.

Yeah, I believe in due process. Innocent until proven guilty instead of your 'progressive' "listen and believe" (AKA, "an accusation is all you need!")
Considering how very, very many of these public accusations have been proven false, you'd be a fool to automatically assume guilt.
F*ck you for implying I'm bad for wanting to protect due process and basic human rights.

You want to insult someone, insult the false accusers using the system to punish people by proxy. THEY are the ones making the process harder for actual victims.
 
Don't worry, if he gets elected he'll just follow the example of his friend Putin and make sure that all those who opposed him or dared write badly about him end up dead or in prison. So there will be no one accusing him afterwards.
