WHen does FedEx stop delivering (or..when can I go get somethin to eat)

I ordered a buncha stuff from NewEgg (*cheer*) and all but the computer case arrived yesterday (frustration..all this stuff and no case to put it in).

The delivery tracking website says:

Delivery Attempt LYNN HAVEN FL 9/26/2002 17:06 Future Pickup/delivery requested

What the heck does that mean? Do they request an extension? Paid a buttload for Next Day service and now it is 3 day service?

It's almost 6:30pm now and I am hungry. If I leave and they deliver, it will yet ANOTHER day of sitting here watching dust collect on a 2.53GHz proc, Radeon 9700, etc, etc, uber, uber.

My avoiding death due to hunger relies on your inputs!

Don't they leave a note on the door? They did yesterday and left my stuff with the managment (common practice). This time, no note and no computer case sized pacakages at the front office. The tracking messages (all but the case) for yesterday were:

Call FedEx & ask what "Future Pickup/delivery requested" means, but if it says delivery attempt my money's on them having come & gone already.

Just called the Customer Service number. The automated tracking information said that they are going to deliver tomorrow. I can only guess it will be at the butt crack of dawn when they do.

I am happy cause I can go eat, I am sad cause I can't play with my new toys.

If they attempt delivery at least once, you can go to the distribution center and pick it up yourself. It's an extra trip but you'll get to play with your toys tonight (possibly, if they're not closed). I think they have to attempt delivery at least once before they'll let you do that though.

Heh, the FedEx center is like .83 miles from my house. They were closed

Oh well, I went and bought a new eaxternal hdd config (see my post in Periphs)

THey have delivered to my house at 8pm before.... it was a 2day package that was on it's 2nd day.
