When does everyone get their Wired magazine? What week?

I recently subscribed, and 2 days ago I got the October issue. Today I got the September issue. 😕 When can I expect the November issue?

What are some other good tech magazines? I know of MaximumPC, but are there others that encompass as many things as Wired?

PC magazine was good up until the late nineties, don't know if they still are. Byte was good but it was bought out by CMP. PC World is too beginner oriented, but decent. In all honesty, computer mags don't do anything for me anymore. Maximum PC has started to decline as well. I sort of like the Reference Series (PC Modder) that is released by the same publisher that makes CPU. Anand writes for CPU I believe.

Never read Wired.

Thanks.

There's just not much reason to bother with a print version. The articles are available online, mostly, and none of the information they have isn't available elsewhere, a month earlier. This applies to all magazines. Except like People and crap like that.

If you find a good one, let me know. The good old days of computer magazines are long gone. I can remember when Computer Shopper was the size of a phone book and Byte was the source for cpu information. Long gone.

i got the current mag on Monday I think, along with their little gadget-oriented mag. Your order's out of whack b/c you just subscribed so they're catching you up
