when do you use overdrive in your car?

I mentioned the Z28 simply because it has 6 spds with two OD's, and wanted to make the point that it's not always just the last gear.

My suggestion that if you need to downshift to go faster by flooring it while in OD, was not specific to powerful cars or anything, and I don't see how you can misinterpret it to be..

[sarcasm] You are right. I concede every point in this thread to you. Why did I not know how dumb I was? It had to be that male ignorance of mine. No way did you bringing up the Z28 lead me to believe that you were talking about powerful cars(even though you shouldn't abuse the overdrive band anyway!) Not only that more automatic LS1s were sold than manual. I was completely wrong and I asked to be banned for my shameful display in this thread.
