When do you shower?

Was talking to a friend over MSN last night when i said "BRB shower."

He seemed shocked that I would take a shower at night instead of when i wake up in the mornings. He said that I was the only person he knew of that would take showers at night, before going to bed.

I was 😕 at that, since half of my friends take showers at night. I've always thought that showers at either the morning or night was just pretty normal and just a perference thing, but he seemed to insist that something was off about showering at night.

My rationale for taking it at night has always been that I do not want to crawl into bed full of all the sweat, dirt, and other nasty stuff that I've aquired during the day.

So.. anyone else showers at night? Is it normal? or do I need my meds?

I'd rather shower in the AM and start the day fresh. My wife on the other hand is one of those pinko commies who showers at night. As a consequence though, when we have baked beans at dinner, I kind of indirectly cause her to need to shower again in the AM. 😱

I always take one in the morning.
My wife will occassionaly take one at night and wash her hair which takes forever to dry.

I always take one in the morning... it helps me wake up and I feel scuzzy all day if I don't.

I occasionally take one at night as well, but usually only during the summer, if I've been sweating or whatever.

I love taking a shower or bath before bed. it relaxes me. Normally though, i will take another one upon rising.

my showering schedule is very strange. since PT is only 3 days a week, I'll shower in the morning after PT, but then I'll shower again in the evening on those same days because 1) it relaxes me, and 2) it just became habit to shower at night because I hate getting up any earlier than I need to. However, showering in the morning can help wake me up, so sometimes, and sometimes just because of how busy I'll be at night, I'll push over showering till the next morning before class.
in the spring and summer, I almost always stick to night showers, because its perfect to wind me down from a day full of energy, and because I usually sweat a lot when its warm. I don't really need the shower in the morning for energy purposes then, because as soon as I step outside and its warm and/or sunny, I get a lot of energy. I need the sun's energy to give me energy. 🙂

My hair and skin just feel scuzy if I don't shower in the AM. But I also can't sleep at night if I feel skeezy. So I often take 2 showers a day.

I generally take a shower in the morning (i get up at 3am) only problem is i am really cold after my shower (again this is at 3am) 🙂

My wife showers in the evening because she works in a hospital and doesn't want to drag too many germs around the house but I prefer to shower in the morning.

Me growing up through HS: Night;
Me starting in college to present: Morning (except on the nights I play sports);
My wife: Morning;
My kids: Night.
My parents: Night;

Same here.

If I take a shower at night, I get pillow-hair and it will look like crap. So, I take showers in the morning where it comes out nice, clean, and manageable.

I take mine in the morning to wake me up. Plus my hair feels oily and all mated after sleeping. I also understand taking them at night after sweating or just getting dirty through the day, but i'm too lazy to take one before bed and in the morning.
