well, maybe my google-fu isnt good, but, i cant seem to remember when you change your watch's date. for example, my watch doesnt have a month, so it didnt know there were only 29 days last month, so it thinks today is the 1st. so, i need to let it know it is the 3rd. but, i think you have to adjust it between 11pm and 1am or something like that, but i cant remember the exact time. if you adjust it at the wrong time it changes the day in the middle of the day instead of at midnight and it is very annoying...

anyone know?

Look it up online. It is probably different for each watch mechanism. I know Skagen includes language on this topic in their user manuals.

I haven't carried a watch since cell phones started having those outer screens on them. Beats me.

it switches the date on the second pass of the 12, so just make sure you flip the date one click or two clicks. or just wind the hands.
