When do the new 2002 year cars come out?

Does anybody know approx what month the new 2002 bmw or lexus models come out? Is it worth it to wait for the 2002 on either brand? Will there be any changes to the look of the cars? After reading nox's post I've narrowed it down to two cars:

2001(2002?) Lexus IS300
2001(2002?) BMW 325i
 
if u want a car NOW, then get it, if you're gonna wait on it til say the end of summer, then might as well wait for the 2002s or the clearance sales on the 2001s, i think the new models start coming out in november
 
Varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Some will start trickling in as early as late July. Usually though new models start hitting in force around late August/early September though.
 
Damaged is right. Sometimes in rare cases (i.e. highly anticipated models) manufacturers will pre-release a few cars with the current year's model number (i.e. 1999 Toyota Tundra).

Most of the time you'll have to wait till late summer/early fall though.

You might want to go down to your dealer and put your name on the list if you know what car you're getting. Oftentimes it can take MONTHS to find a new car that you want.
 
Acura TL Type-S (2002) is out right now! Forget the Lexus and BMW, the TL-S performs better and is a better bargain.
 
Like amnesiac 2.0 said about highly anticipated models. The 2000 Neon was released in April of 1999. So it was out 5 months earlier than most cars that put out.
 
2002 Bimma in coming in NOVEMBER..
Good things are coming for 330i (I wanna get one).
BMW will make a speering a bit better (too much boost right now for 2001 models. Also, lights probably will look like 2001 5 series (nice ring around the heasdlights).

I've seen some 2002 models already released this year and we're only 3 months into 2001! Most car manufacturers release their models for the upcoming year, 3 months before the actual year comes, give or take a month.
