I learned there was no such thing as god when I developed common sense... santa, easter bunny, tooth fairy, etc...

(I dont capitalize the name either... its not a proper noun but a sense of being imho

I don't flame people who believe in god, so they should not flame us out of outrage.

In the spirit of the OP:

I stopped believing in gods when Bush stood on a bare rock mountain top and gave a speech. No lightning, not even a rumble, therefore - no god.

Never, I was able to decide for myself.

I've always thought there was a god but that he, or his son, walked the earth and all the other christian psycho-babble turned me away. Along with the psycho-babble of the other religions.

Lately, I've been reading the Quran, and say what you will about the religion, but man, if you're going to believe in a god, it sure seems like Allah would make the most sense.

So...when's this thread going to be locked?!?!
