I think I learned at church. There was some sermon about Santa Claus being the instrument of Satan :(

Wow that's pretty bad, but this is why I halfly knew that Santa Claus is not real. I attended Sunday School and thought what does a fat bearded dude has anything to do with the birth of Jesus Christ.

I attended a university course on the study of the bible and the history of the early Christian church and thought, "What does the birth of Jesus Christ have to do with December 25th, the birthdate of Mithra, the Roman god of light?" ;)

:) yeah I know that December 25 is not the actual date of the birth of Christ but the date was selected as Christmas anyway. It's kinda strange to think that they could choose the date in July, it'll be so weird to have Christmas during summer like in Australia.

When I was seven. I don't see what the big deal is. It's not like it ruined Christmas for me.

7.

I was pretty pissed at my parents for a couple months after they told me, because they lied to me.

I don't remember myself. My GF's son is 7.5 and he's still a believer, but he's already figured out the physics of negotiating our chimney for a human doesn't make sense. I give him another year and then some of his friends will probably tell him. His mother will be crushed that he doesn?t believe.

When my parents told me, I had to go into school and tell everyone in my class. 60 second graders absolutely crushed. Oh well, it was funny, and I don't resent them for 'lying' to me.

I always knew, as far as I can remember. I always suspected that presents were secretly placed by my parents while I was sleeping, because Santa's fatass just couldnt fit throught the chimney no matter how you look at it.

Even at a very young age, I knew that I was a materialist, I didn't believe in magic, ghost or fairy tales. Nevertheless I liked those things because I thought they were entertaining.

I think I was around 6 or 7 (very young) when my jerk sister (7 years older) decided to ruin my Christmas for me by telling me that Santa Claus wasn't real.

I think I cried for a while. I kinda felt like less of a kid after that because shortly after she told me about the Easter bunny and leprechauns, too. (I have a terrible sister)

Anyway, I was kinda relieved that I'm the youngest so I didn't have to worry about accidentally ruining it for my younger siblings. My sister, on the other hand, did it deliberately. I at least understood why my mother wrote so much like Santa after that, though. I was kind of suspicious when I begged Santa for a life-sized Barbie but didn't receive it that year because he was too "busy". :(

Life-sized Barbie???
I hope you are a girl :D

REAL DOLL!

I cannot ever remember having believed in Santa. It's probably because I'm the youngest and they all ruined it for me.
