Looks to be a new interface for Windows Update on my computer....

Is this just me, or is this a new windows update?

Weird. I'm completly patched up, and mine looks "normal". Very strange. Oh well, it looks fancier than normal :D

About the same time as SP2 RC2 was released, Microsoft upgraded the entire Windows update thing. That is the way it is, SP2 or no SP2. Get used to it.

That's version 5 of Windows Update. Most Windows XP users without SP2 are still using version 4, and 98/NT users are still on version 3. You can try it out the new version yourself by going Here, though.

Ugh. I clicked on it (DOH!) and now cant get back to the old Windows update. I always get redirected to the v5.windowsupdate.... site

How can I get back to the normal Windows update?
