Sorry bro, I totally empathize with you. I'm pretty sure you've said before that you can't really leave your shithole area easily, but if you can I wholeheartedly recommend that you move somewhere that allows you to legally shoot such subhuman thieves. I can't imagine having to live in some ghetto piece of shit nanny city/neighborhood.
 
I have over 800 FICO score. I'm actually a very pleasant guy. I just don't like people because many people have no integrity whatsoever.
 
If I remember correctly from pre-law (and I'm sure someone will correct me if I don't!), talking about doing something isn't a crime, until and unless you actually take some action to make that threat happen.

So even if the police come hassle you and write some reports, there's not much else they can do.

That said, don't be a dumbass. No one's life is worth a sack of side mirrors.

And don't overestimate your audience. Subtlety doesn't translate well in text.
 
Not that my opinion matters at all, and I have no clue as to how or what you posted in the past (that may or may not have added substance to the aids thread), but reading that post at face value, you came off as someone who was seriously looking for ways to bring harm towards the apparent thieves. And not just bring harm but potentially take life threatening measures in your own hands.

Now, were you seriously contemplating getting aids infected needles and create a lethal theft deterrent? I do not think so (but can not say for sure). However you did come off as someone actively looking to take the law in to your own hands and perhaps do something otherwise violent and/or venomous to others, albeit low life thief's.

Having said that, would I have turned you in to the local PD? No, probably not. But I can not fault someone for trying to protect others (including yourself) from a possibly deliberate, discussing, vile, and seemingly real threat.

As someone already mentioned, there are places on the net for this type of conduct, but here does not seem like the place. Even in OT a threat is a threat. And just for clarification (and again, coming from someone who does not know you or your posting hobbits at all), you indeed seemed sincere in intent to do harm to others even though they were scum.

If I may, I suggest getting some professional help.
 
I don't know how legit all of this is, but this kind of shit is what wastes taxpayers dollars...if the NYPD actually have to take the time and contact the ISP, get the address and show up on his doorstep to take a report. All for something random posted on a technology (off-topic) forum.

Just like facebook threats...I work for a couple of school districts, and the resource officers in these schools have told me that about 80% of their jobs now are questioning people about comments posted on FB. wtf.

Nah. Threats, drug dealing ect dont mean a thing on these sites. I'd of been locked/questioned up a long time were that true. All you get are low budget haters and thats it.

The fact that his aids thread is not locked means nypd was not contacted.

True. But they definitely take harassment and threats seriously on facebook. An old coworker of mine had the cops called on him because he uploaded an unflattering picture of a girl from a high school yearbook he had (she is in her 40's now, and bat shit crazy). Supposedly he and the cop had laughs about it, and ultimately he just agreed to take the picture down. It's crazy that law enforcement gets involved with shit like this.
