When did Google Docs start forcing KB shortcuts?

I'm a keyboard shortcut freak...but this angers me. I normally have my left hand on the keyboard and my right hand on the mouse, but earlier I was stretching or scratching my back with my left hand while I tried to right-click and paste something using my mouse.

I got this message:

Why does it even show the options for cut/copy/paste in the Edit menu and right-click menu?!

I think this is intolerable.

Sometimes I right-click, then press an access key w/ my left hand...so mouse+keyboard can be even more productive than either one by itself. Google knows best, I guess...
