all im waiting for to kick off the shopping for my new rig is for the new amd thoroughbred processor to be available... when can i expect it to be available for oem purchase?

well its hard to say... 1st there were rumors about it being pushed back to sometime in june and everyone thought it was just a rumor but the release date has come and gone so maybe it wasn't. also there are reports that amd is having trouble incorporating the .13 architecture so maybe it might be a viable option to wait for the hammer if the t-bred release is pushed back any further.
 
well, in terms of .13 rollout, it doesn't look too good that the only Tbred mobile chips are running at 1.2 to 1.33ghz[/b] and still run at 1.65V.

It is typical of mobile chips to run at a lower Vcore than desktop chips, and desktop chips were projected to use 1.65V
