Hi, why WinXP pro always check the consistency of my D🙁NTFS) for error.

i know i have a successful shutdown last time, so is there way i can disable it or did i do something that i dont' know..

please show me how can i do it....

oh, i just inatlled a new videocard over my old geforce(it is a Radeon 9100 128MB)

i also want to know how big the apecture size i should set in the bios.

just let it run till it's complete, it should go away next time you bootup.

how much ram do you have?
set it at the highest aperture size for performance.

256MB

 
Thats a strange problem but i'd 1st do a defrag of the drive then a surface scan.

also use norton systems works to detect for drive errors. thats will usually fix any drive issue u'll be getting.

if that doesnt seem to work.

i'd move all the stuff from that drive and just reformat the drive. that should probably fix that issue.
 
oh my god...

that seems so difficult.

i just replace the videcard driver and causing all these, is there way that i can remove nvidia driver from registry?

cuz i do see "nvidia coperative" in registry but i couldn't delete it.

i did use norton disk doctor to scan but no error found.
 
to remove old nvidia detonator drivers look for an app called Detonator Destroyer or something similar, www.guru3d.com probably good place to look. A lot of people reccomend a reformat & reinstall though when switching from a nvidia to an ati card, wether or not it is worth the hassle is up to you.
 
i've been to there, and there has only a verson for ME/98. (and saying xp/2000 is coming soon, or something like that.)

and i've tried the detonator R.I.P. but that the program doesnt' work.
