When and where can I find blooming Lotus flowers in the USA?

Are we talking about "sea" of lotus? or a few tiny one here and there? If just any lotus then drive around some local lakes in June and you should see them in some back water.

How do you play a game with cards like that in your deck, because your opponent knows what it is due to being the only card in your hand sealed in an air-tight, 3" lucite case?
