When a post gets edited..

...does the original text of the message get stored anywhere? as "evidence" for the mods? or when you edit a post does it remove completely the original text from the server database?
 
Original text is lost during an edit. That's probably the way it will stay as well, the only thing we are thinking of adding is the ability for a mod/admin to edit a post and lock i afterwards.
