Which ones? The ones where people think I'm saying she should get to keep the money? The ones where people think I'm blaming the bank? Those?

Or the ones where people are confused as to why I don't think this woman should become a felon because of a stupid decision that resulted from $1.2m being dropped into her lap?

None of my arguments have changed and I've been consistent. People having shit-tier reading comprehension about what I wrote, or being confused about contract law and criminal law isn't my problem. Nor is my opinion "wrong" that we don't need more non-violent felons in this country, especially one where the "theft" and "fraud" wasn't even some thought-out scheme, as much as a reaction to a very unique set of circumstances.

I guess I should ignore the posts from people who agree with me, and liked what I said?

Yeah, I know, you got nothing. Thanks for the concern.

dude give it up!! Your like a little kid who has to get the last word!
Those people who agree with you also agree that once she hid the money and refused to give it back she committed a crime!
It doesn`t matter what some Governor or some federal official got away with....that has no bearing on the fact this lady committed a crime!
Most of those people whop you claim agree with you also agree that she should have left the money alone....if you want to play with the big boys ---grow up!!

Clearly I'm the little kid who needs the last word, as can be seen by your post. Thanks for clarifying.

I'd pay to just see someone calmly asking how she thought this works or how it would work out just to see the mental pretzel she'd work herself into trying not to look like a crook.

"So does 1.2 Mil normally show up in your account, that you wouldn't think it was an error?"

"t'Was a MIRACLE"

"Then why did you immediately transfer it to another account and begin spending it?"

"The lawd works in mysterious ways"

Instead of approaching this from binary, we could try and unmask the grey, the real number in between.
For one we all have to realize that human beings are deeply corruptible creatures. If you think otherwise I admire your naivety, might even envy you, however there is a reason that big money in society is behind lock key and armed guards. For one its a deterrent. If the money were there for the taking and all you had to do was to put on a mask and go grab it? You get the picture.
Dangling a cool million right in front of anyone not used to money like that... I mean are these religious trials or something, is Saint Peter testing my ticket?
Still law is law, I'd just hope for leniency, its not like she put a mask on and threatened to shoot anyone.

"And I thought I could get away with it, too" is grounds for harsher punishment, not leniency lol....

This is getting absurdly stupid - oh well, always good to laugh at complete idiots.

So what is wrong with the current banking system?
How many times does this happen??
Is there really a problem........hmmmm

Why is she held responsible for this. It's not her screw up. She should be able to keep that cash. And because she black she get the racist treatment. Shame.
I assume your being sarcastic here. Nice.
Because nobody's stupid enough to claim "racism" in a case like this.

Not that her job or social position being different would have changed her responsibility for her actions, but...she wasn't some welfare queen either. She was a staffer in the county Sheriff's Dept.

In my opinion, if anything...that makes her even more culpable because she should have known better, just by common sense if not by technical law.
