the creator of the segway came up with this along time before the segway

its actually pretty incredible how it balances itself and climbs up stairs..it can even ride through sand.

I remember seeing this on Discovery or something like 2 years ago... was interesting to watch. Very cool how it balances up on two wheels. Plus it's totally off-road!

exactly...remember the nickname/prerelease name "Ginger" for the segway? the nickname for the wheelchair was "Fred Astaire" (get it, it climbs stairs)...
