It's the little things that make life enjoyable. To clear up your confusion regarding my revelation, I received an email today from the HJIC (Head Jackass In Charge) of my HS class reunion committee. It was a mass emailing to everyone registered for my graduating year at the alumni association website. It was the typical "catch up with old friends" reunion thing. What put a smile on my face what how I was able to respond to it.
-----------------
My response:
Please do not send me any more letters regarding a class reunion. The only reason I registered on the alumni association website was so I could remain in contact with the friends I had in HS. If you haven't heard from me by this point in our post-HS lives, it is safe to assume I had no desire to keep in touch. I hope you all have a good time, but for me, I see no need to resume the charade of false friendship that ended when we left HS.
------------------
Yeah, it is juvenile and vindictive, but it got my point across. If you couldn't tell I hated most of the people in my HS (most of my friends went to other schools) and even now I wouldn't shed a tear if a majority of my former HS classmates were hit by a bus.
