OMG
yay!
:awe:

Marvel got angry after a bunch of terrible movies, and then said: we need to do this shit ourselves.
Got their own official studio, and bam... it's been all good things since.

But then.... it is unbelievably awesome, this news here!

From the way Marvel has been setting up The Avengers by giving each character their own officially-made-by-Marvel movie... to giving J.W. the helm.... this is nothing short of his noodly appendages setting the world right.

What's next? J.W. will finally be allowed to have another show last for more than a season or two?

That's an enormous step up for him. As a big fan of Angel and Serenity (and a lesser fan of Buffy), I'm happy to hear this.

wow, i had no idea there was an "ultimate" Nick Fury - a black dude - based on Samuel L. Jackson. Interesting.

so it's going to start really slow, get to the main plot about an hour in, and then it's going to run out of money and leave everyone hanging 30 minutes later?

Aside from the 2 episodes of The OFfice he directed, I have not seen a single thing this guy has done. People seem to like the guy though for whatever reason. :hmm:

He's a pretty damn good choice considering his movie/show resume and the fact that he used to work for marvel.

Nope, never even heard of it. :hmm:

NPH is in it. It is actually pretty good stuff.

You never did Firefly? That is like saying you never heard of The Wire.

You have had to have seen something of his. Other things he has done:

It might just be crazy enough to be awesome. :)
