The Bp6 has ata66 on board, It uses the "Highpoint 66" controller "Hpt66"

I had a bp6 for a short time, one thing to consider is the type of heatsink and the revision of the board, mine had very tall capacitors around the socket, the heatsinks were dangerously close to them :(

yup you are right about the ata 66 controller; so are there any other mobos out there; or i should just get the bp6?

which revision should i get then?

I was just looking at the specs for the bp6 and I am not sure if it supports flip chips?

as for the revision, if you buy it new you should be getting the newest revision, you should check the caps around the sockets and see if they are tall or short.

I will try to find a newer board with dual flipchip support, an i815 chipset board might be the way to go.
