My team as a whole has a lot of nerf gun fights, there's random remote controlled helicopters flying around, other strange things from time to time as well. However, my subteam (and subsequently, my office) is pretty quiet, no one really talks or does anything.

why don't you talk to the hot intern?

You obviously don't know where I work.

I quoted the wrong post. That question was directed towards Gibson

My new job is great...<20 people, we all do our work but have complete freedom. Sometimes we chip golf balls (the plastic ones) around inside or we do it on the lawn behind the building. We do a group lunch at least once or twice a week. Nothing totally amazing but it's just so easy going that I don't care.

My company is pretty laid back. I'm sort of like a contractor for the company though so I don't have to be there at a specific time. Pretty much laid back although right now there are many changes that are happening. Hopefully at the end of this massive change thingy it will be the same.

some of the things i've heard my boss say:
names changed to protect the innocent

"Hey, Gary I found a woman who is as fat as you are" - dude is pretty overweight...

"Gary, you fat m-f'er, you should be a g-d City worker for as f'n lazy as you are"

Its pretty funny when he goes off on a tirade, he has a high pitched, really loud voice and man, he can cuss w/ the best of them.

We have hot, naked women dancing all around us.

I can barely stay on track long enough to post here.

Middle school, summertime, no kids, no teachers, me in shorts and T shirt. Life is good until Labor Day.

Get out some giant cans, hook up my iPod, turn up volume. Ignore the rest of the crap around me for 8 hours. Go home.

It is pretty stale here, we can't have any kind of fun stuff (nerf gun fights, throwing wads of paper at eachother, talking too loud, etc). It really is an annoying atmosphere and I am miserable at work.

Basically our studio is like home for most of us. We have everything we need, video games, fully stocked kitchen, sleeping areas, gym/spa, and a gun range :)
We do whatever we want most the time and have a lot of fun. We have nerf gun fights almost daily, we can normally win against a group of trained soilders due to our cheap tactics :p

Very boring here. There aren't many young people, so everything is very polite and professional. I can't really complain, it a nice distraction-free environment and I get a lot done, but it's really lame when work is slow and I just want to pas the time until I can go home.

The intern free once again. He inch-wormed his way out of the manager's office, which we then stuff him under a desk for a while buried behind a fake tree and some boxed. He eventually managed to free himself, not before being noticed by said manager.

We wait around wondering who'll be laid off next.

So do we right now actually. But we have fun doing it. My work place is really nice.

How about I flick you off instead?

woo hoo thanks!

Trying to give you a better angle of the office, we are on the 11th floor, no other tall buildings around us, one side overlooks the airport and the other overlooks Tampa Bay, its really nice, just not a good angle here.

Generally quiet with a fair share of drama thrown in. Quite a bit of passive aggressiveness going on as well which really sucks.

We sit around and tell jokes and heckle management all day long. We do try to fix a few things every day, but the plant is new and runs well for the most part (aside from the generator with a ground fault that refuses to be found and fixed).
