What's your work environment like?

Where I work, it is so dam boring. I wish there was some drama. Why does everyone have to get along? The biggest hilight of teh day is usually when teh hot intern walks by....but I am at the back, so that rarely see it

My team as a whole has a lot of nerf gun fights, there's random remote controlled helicopters flying around, other strange things from time to time as well. However, my subteam (and subsequently, my office) is pretty quiet, no one really talks or does anything.

Where I work, it is so dam boring. I wish there was some drama. Why does everyone have to get along? The biggest hilight of teh day is usually when teh hot intern walks by....but I am at the back, so that rarely see it

damn, i work in a cube farm with a buncha old engineers and we have more drama than days of our lives.

Anything goes in our offices. People smoke, curse aloud and resolve disputes face to face. I was pretty freaked out when I interviewed but as long as I get my work done noone cares where I am or what I am doing.

Quiet. Until a couple weeks ago I was the only person who worked in this office (the company has three offices total), but we hired a guy on to work here with me. It's laid back though, and still sorta quiet with the two of us mainly cause if I need to focus and get work done I can't talk and do that at the same time, and I've been busy as fuck for the past two+ months.

Boring as hell...
No one talks. 40 people in one room with 3 foot tall cubicles so everyone can see everyone else. Most of the time, all you hear is keys clicking on the keyboard. Occasionally someone will talk on the phone, but it is so quiet that the entire room hears what they are saying.

Very laid back. Jeans and t-shirt company with some that wear shorts and sandals. We have free soft drinks and a pool/ping-pong table and a couple of plasmas with remote control access for whomever is near.

Everyone in my office is extremely laid back and nice. They really do genuinely care about each other here. Most people regularly discuss their personal lives and it bothers no one. We all get our work done which is usually minimal stress. Life is good. Working for the School District is the best.

Considering I have a shitty minimum wage job... It's always hot as hell cause there is no AC and your washing dishes next to a machine that rinses the dishes with like 160F water and you have to listen to the waitresses bitch about not having enough of something but 90% of the time it's cause it's still out on the tables with people.
