I use to wear a watch, now I wear my cellphone.
don't see the use of having 2 timers on hand at any given moment.

and if I ever get a watch, it'll be a NICE one. I don't believe in getting cheap stuff when it's expected to last for more than 5 years. so anything over 5 year life expectancy on my house is always TOP OF THE LINE!

I haven't owned one for years. My wife is always looking at her watch out of habit. it really annoys me. i get up when she says, I leave work when a couple other guys do, and I go to bed when I can't stay awake.

been looking at some 200-300 dollar watches though. Something descent looking.

Casio divers watch, about 120, got it years ago and I beat the crap out of it and it works great. It's not super expensive but it's very rugged, it's actually the 2nd one of them I've owned, the only reason I had to get a new one is I left it on the ground during a basketball game once and some little girl ran by, stepped on it upside down and slid about 12 feet on it under her foot, scratched to the point that you couldn't even see the hands.

I've had my Casio G-Shock since '88 and it works GREAT. It's been scuba diving, sky diving, hang gliding, through five years of the Army, and other less publishable adventures. ;) I finally had to replace the band a few months ago 'cause the little rubber keeper thingy broke - that's the only repair it's ever needed. It's not fancy, and it's not pretty, but it IS a heck of a good sturdy watch. :) Think I paid $50 for it back then and you can pick one up at Walmart now for $35.

Fossil blue, had it for about 2 years and it's still like new. It was a good buy (even if I got it as a present)

Hmmm....I double-click on mine in my sys. tray... ;)

Why should I need a watch? For when I am away from my computer, I suppose? WHat, I need to see how long it takes me to get from the fridge back to my computer or from the toilet back to my computer?

I have a Gucci watch (HS graduation present)... the leather strap has broken several times over the course of the past 3 years, but it's still running strong. My roommate has a $10 "brand name" Seiko (?) watch she bought in Chinatown in NYC... she's had it for two years, and it hasn't let her down yet. The next time I go to NYC, I'm going to buy me another watch... :)
