Original amount of student loans: 12K (undergrad) + 60K (grad)
Year of graduation: 2007
Remaining student loans: 26K
How much do you put towards your student loans every month on avg: Used to pay 2000 a month, but now down to 1000

Starting paying loans 3 months ago. Had $36k in loans. Paid $18k in the first payment. $18k to go. I'm making $400/mo payments now.

$0. I was paying $400 a month, and it annoyed the hell out of me, so I plunked down the ~$30k or so to knock it out.

$0 debt here.

Debt = Slavery.

If you don't understand how to use it properly, yes.

Didn't note how much I had at the end of school. It's at 3% interest rate and deductible for now, bringing the effective interest rate to ~2.25%. No reason to pay it off early other than epeen. I'd rather put my money to work for me and be better off in the long run than have a warm fuzzy feeling when I post on the forums in loan threads.

$0 for Bachelors (Scholarships)
So far for my grad I'm able to pay off each semester with savings. I'm taking subsidized loans however as a pillow. So far I'm on course to simply give it all back at the end of schooling.

$0.

Four years in, $0 debt.

Grandparents left me a college fund. :-\

Eh, some people get lucky like that. My roommate was in the same situation. I plan on setting something up for my grandchildren when they actually might exist in 20-30 years, if nothing else, make it a little easier.

Original amount of student loans: $130k

Remaining student loans: something close to 130k

Graduated....that's a complicated question for me.
Remaining loan: around $40k 🙁
Pay towards it: whatever the government is taking out, around $100 per pay (fortnightly).

Good news: interest free. I'll pay it as slowly as possible and let inflation eat it up.

$0 debt since education is free here in Denmark.

all I have to pay for is living expenses, and between the $1k/month grant every danish student get from the government , high minimum wage for part time jobs and subsidized student apartments (they're actually quite nice) it's not really that hard to make ends meet.

Do the people who keep posting "$0" realise that no one gives a shit? It's like coming into a car forum and your only contribution being "yeah I dont have a car or a license or really care about cars. thanks".

Graduated in 2003 owed 6200, paid it off as soon as possible.

Wish I hadn't, it made buying a house after the crash interesting, without must of anything on my credit report, despite having enough to pay close to 50 percent down.
