Foobar AND VLC in the top 3? That's almost excessive

If I have to choose between the two, I'd go for VLC.

No more so than listing a web browser and email client, IMO. FB2K is a music player, with a UI tailored towards playing and managing audio. VLC would be annoying to use as a replacement for it, despite being able to play back the same files.
