Is there anything that doesn't change the taste of food/drink? After I brush, food and water and milk and all that taste weird. 🙁

Arm and Hammer.

My roommate's g/f says it tastes like gism though. I've been asking girls that (ones I know of course) and the ones that know what both taste like say it is similar.

So there's something to think about when you're getting ready for bed tonight.

Rembrandt. It has neither sweeteners (which I despise in toothpaste, makes food taste bad afterwards) nor ammonium lauryl sulfate which I think is a foaming agent known to either cause or exacerbate canker sores. That alone is worth the price tag, IMHO.

colgate!!!!!!!!!

i prefer like the peroxide kind, and usually it's got tartar control.. i just like the taste of that better than the other stuff

Actually, any toothpaste is going to make food taste funny...especially acidic ones. I remember our chem II prof showed why the "toothpaste effect" happens. Toothpaste is a strong base, needed to neutralize the acids in your mouth that eat away your teeth (also bases give the "soap" effect and wash away debris). When you brush your teeth, then eat or drink something with a lot of acid (orange juice is the most popular), the acid and base combines to make a salt, causing the bitter taste.

Neat, huh?

Colgate Total, dentist recommended.

Apparently it rocks all others, at least until their patent runs out in 2007 (they actually said something like this in an ad when it first was out).

Colgate Total + Oral B Electric brush = cheap dentist visits.

Haha. I am a dentist, and brushing ain't everything. You gotta floss. There are people who brush better w/ a manual brush. So it doesn't work for everyone.
