I think my repsonse time is scewed.. because my mouse is tied to my keyboards USB hub

2. Use USB.
3. Mouse ---- Keyboard-----USB socket---- IRQ 9


If I had a faster system.. dedicated IRQ line... I'd get better response times.

if you hold down your mouse on the stop button, it improves your time a lot (about .04 second for me) I was getting consistently under 0.19 second when I held the mouse down, and around 0.24 when fully clicking on stop.
