I could have found cheaper places, not that this is bad, but they were always either ghetto or inconvenient (like super-small-kitchen, or sh!tty location)

That's a little higher than the average 2-br place around UCLA, but not by much..last year there were 4 of us sharing a 2 br place, and we each paid about $600 apiece for a 1000 sq ft apt.

So.....*opens calculator*, looking at about $865/month for everything. That includes $20 for laundry in the machines.

Its actually on the cheaper side. Most 1bdrooms are over 1k here in the bay area. I cant get a studio since I got just too much stuff.

Im in arlington, VA. rent is $1900 for a two bedroom/two bathroom.

utilities......$150 maybe?

i like the area, its super convenient. but i pay a premium of $200 or so for that.

745 including utils for a 1 bedroom apt in upstate ny - when i factor in how much i save in meal costs by cooking for myself this actually turns out to cost the same as living in the dorms at my college!

$1200 for the whole thing, splitting it 3 ways. seperate gas/power/cable bills and we have no phone line.
