Right. And it's not just the difference in # either. The ones on the right also tend to be D-List or worse. We're talking Kevin Sorbo, James Woods, Kid Rock, and the ever pertinent Scott Baio.

Yes, Taylor Swift has a video where she's joined by like 10 other A listers, all offering an FU to flag waving redneck homophobes. I don't deny the importance of the influence. I just want to make sure that no one is lured into thinking that a celebrity opinion is right because it comes from a celebrity.

OP, I think you are the one with the problem. You like to put forward B and C list "celebrities as being "influential," and those you put forth are generally ignorant right wing racists. They can do and say what they want, but they are not "thought leaders" except to people, like you, who hold similarly abhorrent views. They can simple go fuck themselves, for all I care. So can you . . . which is my way of saying that you are not that bright and that, when you post here, it does not rise above the level of extraneous noise pollution.
Selleck and Piazza are not racists.....they are just patriotic.

The irony here is that the majority of celebs are liberal. Yet you don't see people around here offering up, say, Taylor Swift, to support their liberal views, claiming she is somehow an authority on politics because lots of people buy her music and go to her concerts. I feel like conservatives cling to the smaller number of celebrities who are conservative. But it's best for conservatives not to elevate them too much because if we listened to the majority of celebs on politics the republicans would never be elected.
Conservatives are in the unenviable position of being victimized by reason. It makes it extremely dangerous for them to think. They know better than to leave the Mother Ship alone. They hide in the glow of conformation biased celebrities. It's something like saying 9 out of 10 of dentists recommend Trump being better than a root canal surgery.

Typically I am not interested and frankly irritated by celebrities spouting political crap. Some are able to pull it off but most are either:
Dumb and it’s painful to listen to
High speaking meaning you feel like they are talking down to you which is irritating
Worst of all is when it’s both

Some can pull it off and that’s cool, songs are tricky. Typically they get a free pass from me. Music creator droning on and on about it generally does not get a pass.

The problem with patriotism is that everybody thinks they know what it is and nobody agrees on what it is. I , myself, call it a disease. If you love yourself you love every nation's people because, they were all born with the same patriotic bias as me, none whatsoever, all just human being

Taylor Swift alone probably influences more people than every right leaning celebrity combined.
I thought it was funny when MAGA decided to cancel Taylor Swift, and well, she didn't even notice.

Trump makes a nasty tweet at her, she responds with a tweet suggesting people should register to vote, and voter registration records are set.

That shutup MAGA real quick. I think they are all terrified of her now.

I don't have a problem with celebs in politics. I have a problem with dummies, hypocrites and racists.

Aka Tubberville, Trump, Herschel Walker.
Don't like dummies, hypocrites and racists in politics? Then why do you keep supporting Democrats? I guess totalitarian terrorist supporters are ok.

I really question if brandonbull is smart enough to use a VPN.

-Funny, if you read how he structures his comments, I actually think he's quite sharp.

His arguments are basically constructed to get the maximum emotional response out of Dems and Libs. Just cause we don't agree with them doesn't mean they're poorly constructed arguments, they're just (deliberately, I think) drawing on an alternate slate of facts.

I don't believe he's arguing in good faith, I think he's just having fun.

Top kek trolling IMO.

Weak sauce. get professional help And stop sucking the cream out of insurrectionist trumps 2 incher. I have to laugh at your simple minded West Bank Israel views. You Orange God openly approves of Islamic terrorists and most republicans support Israel. How do you reconcile this with your breitbartism sized brain.

see, I can how fun snorting.the underside of the bridge paint chips off your MAGAT ridden corpse 👍mmmm brandonbull sweet tears
