I find they usually have insecurities and are not stable people.

Funny. I find them awkward to be around at times. But I usually find the opposite if anything. Mind you it depends on the emotions they are showing. I'm not talking about someone who is always crying cause they are upset or something. Just someone who doesn't seem to know it's considered odd to show your emotions really openly.

If I'm at the office, I don't want to deal with somebody who's crying or always super emotional, I want them to be rational and logical to maximize work output/performance.

To me, people who are extremely emotionally "open" are people who are not in control of their emotions, to me that is a sign of weakness.

Depends on what kind of emotions. If they very openly express their sadness towards something without controlling their emotion and dealing with it, then that's a sign of weakness in my book. But if they're just feeling gleeful and sings a tune, that's cool in my book. If they watch a movie or listen to a song and are moved to tears, that's cool that they can connect with something that can move them so much.

Does not bother me at all, or make me uncomfortable, in fact I have friends like that, though if someone randomly broke into song right next to me I would find it pretty damn annoying. 😀
