my furnace is probably the oldest in my house ... from 1980 when the house was built.

My Grandfather used to use his old Arcade coffee grinder up until his very last days. That thing had been his grandmothers. Everything original, and still works awesome.

I have an Amana microwave (radarange) from either the late 60s or early 70s; I rescued it from going to the trash from a old relative's house. I use it at school for a couple of experiments. If I recall correctly, it's either 1600 watts or 1100 watts (disputing the OP's statement that 750 was the max available in the 80s). I only remember that it was a slightly odd wattage - 100 above a "nice" wattage.

Two knobs, 3 buttons you can push (sort of a high, medium, low), and nothing more than a "ding" from a bell being struck when it finishes.

Wolf gas range. Has to be from the 60s-70s. Great units, I have seen them in many old homes. They seem to last forever.

In my last house i had a Gas range from the 60's. it was fucking huge! 6 burners, a griddle, 2 ovens and a "warming" oven. When we moved we couldn't take it. it was so damn big and heavy. It wouldn't fit into the new house without re-doing the kitchen.

wish we could have brought it. It is far better then the 4 yr old stove i have now.

My roommates mixer, probably. They got it out of their parents' basement when they moved to college.

Not sure why they even have it; they never cook.

Microwave/Black & Decker toaster oven from 1991.

Ironically, we had the rest of our whole kitchen redone in ~2003 with high-end stainless steel everything, and just about everything has started to give us trouble. The icemaker on the fridge went out, the stove igniter stopped working, the dishwasher door latch/door spring mechanism broke and one of the fuses went out inside a few months after we fixed the latch.

None of the old pieces of shit we used prior to it ever gave us any trouble despite being several decades old.

750 was the most Tappan offered at that time, I've seen one of the ones your talking about, my in-laws had one I believe. Has a huge chrome front like a Buick right?, LOL..

1950s Chrome Sunbeam Mixmaster Mixer. It's built like a tank and weighs a ton. None on that cheap plastic crap like they make now.

Blacksmithing tools mostly. My wife is a blacksmith.

Here is the anvil (225lb), circa 1905.

The oldest stuff is, oddly enough, doorknobs. We replaced all the knobs in the house with antique knobs, mostly 1880s but some older.

That's not an "appliance", a doorknob is not an "appliance"!. We're talking fridge, stove, oven, mixers, dishwashers, washers, dryers, well, you get the idea..

We have a big Nesco roaster that you could probably fit two turkeys into. It was given to us by my mom and I can remember it always being in the family. I'm 55. It was given to my mom by another relative. It has a cloth covered electrical cord with that typical diamond cross hatch pattern of the 20s-50s.
