Let's see, I just bought a new 45 gallon Live Oak that replaced my dead pine. That ran $350. My John Deere is getting worked on, that's $250. Next payday my wife and I are going to get some bamboo flooring for my study. That should be about $400 total. That's about the extent of it for now.
Just bought a 42" Westinghouse 1080p HDTV for $641.99 at Costco on Tuesday. About a month ago, I bought a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon (new) for $10,500 (steal, huh?). I plan to buy a decent video card and a next gen gaming console (PS3 / 360) at some point soon to take advantage of the TV I bought.
My latest huge purchase was my home server. Started off at 600 bucks, but after having to RMA stuff constantly (I have VERY bad luck with getting DOA stuff) and running into other complications or stuff I forgot, it turned out to about $2000.
So my next big purchase will probably be a new PC, but that's not any time soon.
As for really, really BIG purchases, it might be a house.
Gonna buy a Zune today (finally convinced myself to ditch the Sansa View ... after it ate the license file twice in a week).
In the next couple months going to buy a new computer. Planning on an i7 920 and an nvidia 260. The display will probably be a 42" 1080p 120hz LCD Television.
