Probably a car. I really want a truck, but I can't afford it. My dad works for GM so he'll get me a good deal, but even then, it's a big chunk of cash. Driving my current car until I can see the road at my feet. Almost there. 😱

I also need to somehow come up with 13k by next summer. Really need to redo the weeping tiles/basement sealing. Had a bit of water come in when we had a huge downpour in spring when the ground was still frozen.
 
House, but I'm having so much fun gambling my downpayment, I don't know if I could let go of that money...
 
"Big item"? Probably a new sluice pipe for under the driveway - I want to expand the driveway opening to make it wider so that it's easier to back vehicles into (it's on a bend in the road) - probably make it 30 feet wide so that I can back any of 3 vehicles out without having to move others.

"big ticket item" - meaning more expensive? All I can think of is a new roof for the back half of my house. Shouldn't cost more than about $1000 dollars or so. The shingles are around around $60 per hundred square feet, plus felt paper, an ice barrier, and nails.

Then, there's the garage remodeling that was put on hold last year; I figure $1500 to turn 650 feet of garage space into an apartment for my son. Just gotta get the drain line tied into the septic system, and I'll be able to whip through the rest of the job; but no particular item is that expensive.
 
I'm a couple hundred short of having enough cash to pay off the rest of my mom's car loan. That's going to surprise the hell out of her to say the least.
 
Not really saving for anything because my money gets spent as it comes in. (Read: I don't have the income to save)

But I'd guess either grad school (That's a big purchase), a lens for my camera, a laptop, a new desktop computer, a new monitor, or a new desk.
 
Just bought a Steelcase Leap for $400. I get $250 from my credit card so it comes out to $150. Guess my next purchase will be my first smartphone.
