What's Your Net Usage Like?

i use netlimiter to check my download/upload stats and to limit my upload a bit so my web browsing doesn't crawl too slowly. heh.

You need to have some kinda monitoring software installed. You could also perhaps find out from your ISP's website by looking up your account details - i know mine offers me that option as well as a whole load of very comprehensive website stats 😀

But anyways, I use DU Meter to keep a tally of my numbers as well as using it to monitor my net traffic at all times. I find it incredibly useful and glance at the upper right of my screen at least 1000 times through the course of a day.

i do that as well, but when i restart it is set back to 0, ill try the ISP website

Most of it is due to backing up huge ass sites once a day.

10GB here, 20GB there ... on a daily basis sure does add up.

I was charging people for backing up their shiat 😉
