8/8/2003 - date i got my broadband connection sorted out. Here are my numbers after a year's worth of netting;

DOWNLOADED = 439.02GB
UPLOADED = 485.00GB
BOTH DIRECTIONS = 924.02GB

DIAL-UP CONNECTION TIME = 10 MONTHS, 29DAYS

A little dissapointed i didn't hit the 1TB mark 🙁 - nvm.

Anyways, what kinda numbers do you guys rack up?

I can't upload or download more than 85GB a year or I get my connection shut down. Fvck you Rescom!

Eek... that sucks. I probably am closer to the first post than second. 250GB down... 20GB up maybe? (capped ULs...)

pacbell/sbc dsl. 6Mb/600Kb. could be downloading more, but hard drive space is what's limiting me. 🙁
of that 200gb, there's nothing the riaa or mpaa can get me on. 🙂

I have no idea how to find out, but I don't download pirated movies and junk, so probably not more than a few GB.

HDD space and UT2k4 are ultimately what stopped me from hitting the 1TB mark

>>> wooda easily past it elsewise, but as soon as UT2k4 found its way into my life, my monthly totals plummetted {spelling?} 😀

Why don't you just change ISP?
Rescom = Residential Computing = I don't have a choice 🙁

I use DU Meter to keep my totals and also have its 'monitor' neatly placed in the upper right hand corner of my screen so i can keep an eye on all net traffic at all times 😀

... yea, i know... 🙁

well.... you can always just work your way up the IT ladder, become the administrator of your segment (or even the whole residential network for that matter) and fix your problems that way....

I already work for Information Technology Services. Unfortunately Rescom is completely seperate from the rest of university IT.
