Could be anything that you do for leisure. Mine used to be upgrading my computer but now it's getting home recording equipment (mics, etc.). My bank account is screaming at me to stop :(

Snowboarding, first.
Gadgets (xbox, cell phones, digicams, etc.), second.

Snowboarding is more expensive (overall) because of lift ticket prices. I should bought a season pass this season! Too late now though :(

I don't spend any money on my car, except maintenance and gas. :)

Digital Photography. Actually, I'm saving up - to begin the obsession.

For now, just reading up on the gig.

Sadly I don't actually have one at the moment. I suppose I've spent a lot of money recently on supplements.

Wuss. Go digital and never spend $ on film again! :p

My computer. As soon as I get the cash, and graduate, and get a wife, and get kids, and get a car, and get a swanky job, I'm buying a home theater!

Weird. I don't really have any expensive ones. My most "expensive" hobby would be acting, but that's more a time expense than monetary. My next biggest hobby is kayaking and aquariums, but while those two tend to have high initial costs, the on-going costs are very low.

I buy a lot of gadgets, but looking back, I usually get them cheap.

Digital quality != Film quality.

anime. $20-something each for most DVDs. it adds up fast. and gaming. I've got a PS2, Xbox, and GCN. And $50 a game. And I got steel battallion, which is bad ass, but it also cost as much as the xbox.

Not really one hobby, I guess...

Computers are expensive for sure, but I usually upgrade once the parts have dropped in price. (Running a 1.4 ghz Athlon, Radeon 8500 All In Wonder, etc.)

Cars are expensive too, but I don't let that get too out of hand. I used to have an old muscle car, but sold that and I'm buying a 10 year old 4x4 truck this week. Old cars don't depreciate much, so it really isn't too expensive of a hobby, unless you are looking to make a show car!
