Out of bed at 6:00am
Drop a deuce
Brush my teeth while shower is warming
Take a shower and shave while in shower
Dry off, comb hair
Get dressed
Out the door and at my desk by 6:35am. Get a drink of cold water in the summer, and hot tea in the winter.

Depends on the shift but same routine just different time.

1: Get up
2: Shower
3: Wash face, brush teeth, put deodorant etc...
4: Get dressed
5: Go to work

For night shift it's the same routine but less rushed, and I don't have to go to work right away. So 5 is nef instead.

Wake up around 8:00.
Brush teeth while I put on my pants and shirt.
Grab coffee (fiance fills my thermos for me). kiss her on my way out

Usually I am able to be in the car and on the road in under 15 minutes from when I crawl out of bed.

I HATE the morning and really wish I could wake up around 10 or 11, since I usually just can't sleep before about 2am as I am never tired at night. (delayed sleep onset something or other.)

Wake up when wife's alarm goes off at 6:30am
Go back to sleep
Wake up when wife leaves for work at 7:15am
Get up
Wake up kids
Eat breakfast
Drink coffee
Shower
Plop down in my home office and work

I'm the same way. In fact when I don't have to go to bed early I tend to go to bed around 5-6am. I try to force myself to bed at 4am though. In summer it starts to get bright out around 5am so it's better if I can be in bed by then. Makes it easier to fall asleep. Melatonin works well but I don't want to make myself dependent on it so I only take it when I'm transitioning from night shift to day shift.

Yes, Melatonin works wonders. Usually I try to go to bed same time every day, and cut all caffeine after about 3 or 4pm. I am asleep by 1am about 70% of the time now without melatonin, and those other 30% I take melatonin and am asleep by 2 or before.

Anyhow, This is exactly a description of what I have been fighting my whole life.

During the school year set everything ahead by a half hour and add in yell at the boy after coffee

Y'all get up EARLY. I mean, I understand if it takes that long to get to work and you don't have a flexible schedule, but DAMN.

Me, I wake up around 8:00 when the wife's alarm gets up and she goes to work, fall back asleep until 8:30 when the cat jumps on me wanting to be petted, then once I get the cat to settle down I sleep in until 9 or so. Hit Snooze a couple of times, then get up, take a shower (shave every third day), dress, then get to work by 10. Work varies...I generally work 9 hour days, but sometimes it will be a bit shorter and sometimes quite a bit longer.

I never eat breakfast. Least important meal of the day IMHO.

Whoa...that sounds familiar.

I do not have a routine for that will make life boring and meaningless. I wake up at different times everyday.

I like getting out early. Plus I really hate being in a rush. My schedule allows for an hour of being lazy/traffic/want to stop for breakfast without having to worry.

get awoken at 625a because wife wakes up and gets ready while I fail to fall back asleep
lie in bed half-tired until...
730a alarm rings, hit the snooze
740a alarm rings, hit the snooze
750a I go brush while sitting down to pee
try to wake the kids for 10 mins in hopes that they won't wake in a bad mood
rush them downstairs for breakfast next 20 mins
get one kid to pee, then change into pants for school
get the other to pee while getting the first to brush
get the one who just pee'd to change into pants for school
then get him to brush too while the first changes into shirt for school
change the other into shirt for school
brush their hair, wipe their crusty eyes and snot, and yell at them to get into their socks and shoes repeatedly
change myself so I look somewhat presentable outdoors
drop them off at school and come back home where I work the rest of the day

seriously, that's the order, for every school day at least. On weekends the kids wake at ~730am on their own and come barging in knowing we're both home. Go figure.

alarm at 5:35 AM, go back to sleep
alarm at 5:45 AM, go back to sleep
alarm at 5:50 AM, wake up, turn on PC from sleep, take a shower

1 more back up at alarm at 6 AM that goes off while I'm in the shower and gets turned off when I get out

alarm clock is about 7 minutes ahead of actual real time

browse some stuff on PC and leave to go to work at 6:10 to 6:15 AM real time

usually get to work at 6:40 to 6:45 AM. shift starts at 7 AM.

I either listen to sports radio, read something, or walk around the building 1 to 2 times before starting work at 7 AM

The night before get something ready like a granola bar or pastry to grab and eat in the car. Sleep to the last possible second. Shower, dress, grab mobile breakfast and get out of the house at breakneck pace. Drive like a maniac if traffic allows to get to work on time.

Just like any normal American.

6:10 Get dressed for run
6:20 Eat apple(sauce?)

7:15 If not running, put Charles to bed for morning nap

737-800, atot on phone or podcasts

I've just been told by my co-workers that my morning routine is "odd". I've done this for years though, and it seems to keep me in shape:

1) wake up around 6:45am
2) get out of bed, do 50 arm stretches, 50 squats, 50 pushups, and 50 inclined pushups
3) take a multi-vitamin
3) take shower/shave/brush teeth/etc
4) get dressed
5) go to work

The only breakfast I eat is a handful of nuts/berries/or maybe a yogurt for some protein, then I eat a normal lunch and dinner. I workout before eating so my body will burn fat stores instead of calories, and have had pretty good luck with my goal of keeping my chest bigger than my stomach 🙂

I had to LOL at one person chastising me for skipping breakfast as "not being healthy", while he's one of those guys that has to spread his legs while sitting so his stomach can hang between them.

Sooooo....how do you start your day?

1. Wake up 04:50
2. Groan with agony
3. Wish I was dead
4. Take a p*ss
5. Feed the dog and the cat
6. Quick breakfast
7. Walk the dog
8. Head to the bus at 05:25

8:20am - wake up
Hard time getting up for 10 mins
Piss, wash face, put clothes on

8:45am - walk 15 mins to work

9:00am - get to work
Eat breakfast at my work desk

Lunch at 1:00pm

Shower at night because I'm not a filthy animal.
