What's your mental/emotional well-being? Depressed? Happy?

On a scale of one to five, how do you feel right now (emotionally)?

Short question, but wondering how many people feel as I do.

Woke up this morning
With a wine glass in ma'hand
Who's wine?
What wine?
Where the hell did I dine?

3 because my friends are visiting southern this weekend and partying without me and worked sucked horribly and I'm still hungry

3 on a downward trend, because despite daily whoring, I am still jobless.

I voted 5. Is my life perfect? Of course not. No one has a perfect life. But things are going really, really well for me right now, and I'm very happy where I am.

99% of the time 1, but today I'm feeling slightly better, so I voted 2.

Depressed, but not suicidal.

Edit: Usual emotional state would be between -2 and -1 I guess: Heavily depressed, sometimes to a suicidal point, bitter, vengeful, jealous, etc.

Sounds like me.

I'm extremely down today 🙁

I've got a great job, an awesome wife and kids... I really have nothing to complain about. 😀

Life is what you make of it.
You make your own luck.
Don't sweat the small sh*t... It's all small sh*t.

With the exception of very few examples (i.e. loss of a loved one, unemployment, etc...), I truly believe all of the above. If you make smart choices, commit yourself to your goals, things tend to work out very well.

But, even though most people could play by the rules that you're able to, some people have chemical imbalances. Now, I know my comment will probably open up the flood gates and many people will say there's no such thing. However, it does exist.

You almost have a nice reverse bell curve going there 🙂

I'm pretty happy most of the time, but I put a (3) cuz I'm going to be stressed out until we get our car repaired and move into our new house in 5 months. NO STRESS! <twitch>

2 -

Still don't have a full-time job, and last Thursday, my car was probably totalled...wasn't my fault, but I loved that car.

Now I'm just waiting for God to kill my dog for the trifecta.

3 right now, pretty much in the middle. Trying not to let myself get down anymore. Being down sucks.

When its an A vs B poll, it ends up 50/50.
When its a multiple choice poll, it ends up a nice bell curve.

I like how ATOT polls always work out nicely🙂

1 on a downword trend to 0.
No job, no money....... still in school, over weight, cholesterol is high (doc wants me on simvastatin and gemfibrozil) Together they can be a deadly combo. Hypertension is ok and diabetes is out of control. And to top it off my Dr. won't renew my antidepressents!

For some reason I've been borderline pissed off for about a week. Hopefully the trip to Whistler-Blackcomb this coming weekend will fix that.
